THE EVENT

No! The track is designed around Sportsman and Clubman riders. The track also features 5-6 Extreme sections for any riders who fancy a challenge and to shave time off their lap. Our goal is to provide an optimum riding experience for all levels.

The Youth Race caters for 10yr to 15yr olds as solo riders and a bike with a maximum capacity of 250 4t.

The Adults Race caters for four classes: Sportsman, Clubman, Vets (over 40’s), and Expert/Pro.

Teams are only applicable in the adult races.

No, we provide you with a 'day licence' through ORPA. This is included within the entry fee.

No, you will be provided with pre-cut numbers & a wrist transponder when you sign-on at registration (main marquee)*

*If riding as part of a team, the transponder needs to be on the rider who is out on the track, otherwise your lap will not be recorded.

Overall we expect between 450 and 650 riders, from all races combined.
The Youth Race we anticipate between 25-50 riders.

We provide a 2hr youth race on the Saturday morning (10am-12pm) which is run over flowing single track & flowing gravel trails. This race is open to both genders from the age of 10yrs - 15yrs
Maximum capacity: 250 4T and Track Mileage: 5-8 miles

All three of our adult races (starting at different times) end at the same time on Sunday evening. The finish flag will come out as close to the 24hr period (Sunday 7pm) dependant of where the lead rider is on the track.

Results be posted on our website 2-3 days after the event due to the Bank Holiday Monday and the hours it takes to compile all the riders data.

Photos will be available on an online gallery during the week, as we collaborate between several photographers to consolidate the images.

If you crash or see another rider who has crashed, please inform the next available marshal on your route. We will attend immediately and radio through to on-site medics if required.

Will not be held liable for any damages & costs incurred to you or your bike. This is your responsibility. All participants are required to sign a waiver before racing to meet our stringent operating procedures.

Both. You compete against fellow solo riders  for first, second and third, in order to place and win a plaque. Likewise, if you enter as a 2 man team you compete against fellow 2 men teams. And the same for the 3 man teams.

In each of the 6hr, 12hr and 24hr races we also have an overall winner, which is the person or persons who have completed the most laps in the allotted time, regardless of you being a solo or team rider. For this we award a cup.

MOTORBIKE

Yes. You can use as many bikes as you like between your team, providing each bike passes scrutineering.

No, we accept any bike, no matter how big or small they are. From Pit bikes right through to full on 1000cc adventure bikes can enter. As long as it’s got an engine, you can race on it

We accept any tyre, be it MX or Enduro. We have no restriction on tyre choice.

If your bike breaks down, PLEASE don't venture off the track & make your own way back to the pits (even if you THINK you know the way back!).  The venue is very vast and riders have been known to get lost.

Like-minded riders are known to stop and offer assistance, if not, stop a rider and ask to pass the message onto the next control point or marshal.

Wait where you are and a travelling marshal will be along shortly and can radio through to arrange collection. There is no cost involved, however feel free to buy the marshal a drink after the event.

If you cannot do another lap, you can park your bike in “holding pen” (which will be positioned before the finish line). The holding pen will open from 2pm on the Sunday. Once the race has finished at 7pm or just after the lead rider has passed the finishing line, you can then collect your bike from the holding pen and ride up to the finish line to record your last lap time.

Here you will also be able to collect your finishing medal.

ON-SITE

You can only have a van in the Pits providing you are entered in the 24 hour race.
If you entered in any other race, be it the 2hr, 6hr or 12hr, your van will need to be parked outside of the Pits.

You can only have an easy-up in the Pits providing you are entered in the 24 hour race.
We do not allow Easy-Ups for any of our other races, such as the 2hr, 6hr or 12hr.

You are most welcome to camp on-site. We would advise that you inform our Marshals on arriving and we'll guide you over to the quietest point.

Yes you can. It's fun! We require that all marshals and volunteers work at least one day, either Saturday and/or Sunday. Travelling and static marshal roles are available for the day & night race. We'll definitely put you to work on your shifts and ensure you're looked after. We will provide a Hi-Vis jacket.

There will be onsite security throughout the weekend. However, to prevent theft/damage we recommend you lock away all your valuables*.

Yes, we will have a selection on traders available over the duration of the weekend selling clothing, tyres & spares.

Animals are allowed at our events, but MUST be on a lead at all times. Any mess they created should also be cleaned up and disposed of appropriately.

FACILITIES

The site is open from midday on the Friday before the event and closes on midday Monday following the end of the event. During this time the site is open for 24 hours each day.

Space will be provided for camper-vans, vans & tents. Otherwise, see the link below for local accommodation. Book early!

You can bring food like any camping trip. We do have full on-site food vendors providing hot and cold food/drink. There are also stores & restaurants within 2-10 miles of the venue.

Trailer, Camper Van, and Caravan parking is onsite and you will be directed when you arrive at the venue. Trailers, camper vans, and caravans are parked separately from the “day parking” to ensure you have more space and a moderate amount of peace and quiet away from the pits.

Yes, we supply a free 1000ltr water bowser for the two days. However, due to the amount of people on the venue, we recommend bringing your own water.

We supply toilets which are dotted all around the camp ground and by the main marquee. We do not offer showers, and therefore recommend bringing a box of baby wipes to keep yourself fresh.

Yes, we will be providing a FREE minibus service taking you to the spectator friendly “Quarry”. Here we have provided a catering van for food and drink, as well as toilets.
