Youth Regulations
ELIGIBILITY
Open to all riders from the ages of 6-15 years. You are required to show legal proof of entrants age at signing on. Acceptable proofs of ID are passport or birth certificate.
RACES/CLASSES
• Little Un's class for 6-7 year olds.
• Mini Junior class for 8-9 year olds.
• Junior class for 10 and 11 year olds
• Intermediate class for 12 and 13 year olds
• Senior class for 14 and 15 year olds
Don’t forget to bring your proof of age to the event, you will not be allowed to ride without it.

THE MINI JUNIOR AND LITTLE UN'S RACE
The course will consist of approx 1 mile lap and will consist of an undulating track, gravel, small bumps, twists and turns. Each rider will be visible for the entire course, it’s easy to navigate with well signposted arrows to show directions and taped off where need be. Lots of marshals are on hand to supervise and help if needed. Run entirely on private land. The winner of this class will be the rider deemed to have completed the most laps of the course within the allotted race duration. This will be decided at the organisers discretion and no correspondence or communication will be directly entered into. Though there will be results for this race, emphasis is of course on fun and experience for the next generation of enduro riders.
8:30 = 8-9 Year Olds 10 Minutes Practice
8:40 = 6-7 Year Olds 10 Minutes Practice
8:50 = 8-9 Year Olds 20 Minutes Race
9:10 = 6-7 Year Olds 15 Minutes Race
9:25 = 8-9 Year Olds 20 Minutes Race

RIDERS BRIEFING AND SIGHTING LAP
You will get your bike checked on the start line. You will also get your briefing at the start line (Parent/Guardina MUST be in attendance)
PITS
Your pit will be near the start area, please bring all items needed for your race to the start line with you
PRIZE GIVING
The prize giving will be as soon as possible after the youth race, shortly after 12:30pm. There will be trophies awarded for the top positions of each Class. Presentations will take place in the main marquee.

YOUTH RACE
Please note: We do NOT accept 250 2 strokes in the 2hr youth race. If your child is 15 and over and has this particular bike then the recommend race would be to compete in the adults race (parental consent MUST be required). Also, a youth rider may compete in the Adult races but must be a minimum of 15 years of age and is restricted to a maximum machine of a 250.
The course will consist of approx a 7 mile lap of a flowing nature through forest trails and gravel tracks, run entirely on private land. The winner of each class will be the rider deemed to have completed the most laps of the course within the allotted race duration. This will be decided at the organisers discretion and no correspondence or communication will be directly entered into. Though there will be results for this race, emphasis is of course on fun and experience for the next generation of enduro riders. The start on Saturday will be group starts determined by classes. Senior class leading the first wave starting at 10.30am. The remaining class will then follow after a minute.
RACE DURATION
The race will finish when the chequered flag goes out for the lead rider at the two-hour mark. Those still on course will be deemed finishers at the completion of the lap they are on. Once the chequered flag goes up, no rider may start another lap. The clerk of the course MAY, depending on the conditions on the day, alter the finish time.
RIDERS BRIEFING AND SIGHTING LAP
There will be a riders briefing is held on the start line. Parent/Guardian and rider MUST attend. The course will be ready for you to walk so you can do a sighting lap from 7.00am on the Saturday (excluding the SEA - Super Enduro Arena)

PITS
The pit area, marshalling and lap scoring areas will be sign posted and taped out. Each team / individual is required to provide themselves with a fire extinguisher at their pit site. Bikes must only be ridden at walking speed at all times in the pit area. Penalty is up to exclusion, at the Clerk of the Course discretion.
Refuelling can only take place in the pit area.
NO SMOKING in the fuel area, penalty is exclusion for your riders.
Absolutely NO mini / pit bikes in the pits or surrounding area.
GENERAL INFORMATION FOR BOTH RACES >>
VENUE / START AND FINISH
The event will start and finish at “Walters Arena”, signed off A4109, near Glyn-Neath, A465, South Wales.
CANCELLATION
If the event is cancelled you will be issued with a full refund. If you cancel for any reason no refunds are given. This event is run in accordance with IOPD Standing Regulations for Hare & Hound endurance type events.
TYRES
Front and Rear tyre choice is unrestricted.
CAMPING & PARKING
The site is on hard ground people with tents be warned (bring something to sleep on)
Parking for caravans and motor homes will be available; HOWEVER this is not a public campsite so there is no electricity, showers or running water. You need to bring your own water for drinking and washing. Portable toilets will be provided.
RACE MANNERS
Please observe all “walking speed” markers. Remember to stop and help fallen or injured riders, i.e. they are not there for traction! “Bar banging / barging” less capable riders and causing them to fall off will result in the offending rider receiving a time penalty. Serious incidents may result in exclusion – don’t cost yourself a position or your ride by riding irresponsibly.
MARSHALLING / CLERK OF COURSE
The marshalling and lap scoring areas are OUT OF BOUNDS to all spectators, pit crew and contestants, with no exceptions. ANY queries / nasty wrangles about lap scoring are to be made to the race control. Likewise, all protests are to be lodged with the same Clerk of the Course within 30 minutes of the race results being put up in the marquee which will be just after the presentation after this time results will become final. Do not approach any other race official / volunteer with complaints or protests, as they legally can’t help you. The Clerk of the Course’s decision is final; no correspondence will be entered into.
RIDING ON SITE
There will be no riding on the site or race course at any time. No pre-riding of the course is allowed – either by adults or youth. Any competitors found on the venue in the preceding weeks will be jeopardising the future of the event and will therefore face exclusion. Only bikes officially entered in the race may be moved around the site during the event. Outside of the race you may only ride your bike to and from the pits / parc ferme at walking speed. No riding anywhere else on the venue.
BREAKDOWNS
If you breakdown on the track, you can only continue in the direction of the course. You must not leave the course or take a van out to try to recover your bike. If you do need your bike recovered you can inform the information point or a travelling marshal and we will have the bike recovered to the pits. Once your bike is recovered to the pits by our team you may repair it or change your tag to your team mate and re-enter the race. Please make every effort to walk your bike to the nearest mile marker to make it easier for marshals to find you and not waste their time due to you finding other means of picking your bike up or the bike becomes operable again.
HEALTH, SAFETY, SECURITY & SPEEDING
Those attending this event do so at their own risk. Please be aware that the health, safety and security of your children, possessions and vehicles are your own responsibility, and the Race Officials may not be held responsible for any loss or damage that occurs. We want everyone to enjoy themselves, so please take care.
Also, be aware that there are plenty of speed cameras in the local towns and speed restrictions are enforced, as are parking restrictions, be careful of your speed and how you park. Thanks.
