TEAM TISWAS TAKES THE WIN AT THE 24HR DAWN TO DUSK ENDURO
The 15th year of Dawn to Dusk Enduro saw just over 400 Riders head out into the welsh countryside of walters arena with some of the best terrain in the U.K the first wave of riders set off at 7pm saturday night for the 24hr Race the weather forever changing with heavy rain at times the riders battled on throughout the night on a 6 mile loop through the forest and fire roads. Team Tiswas took the win in the 24 hrs race with 51 Laps in a time of 24:08:17 with 5 Star Precision taking 2nd with 46 laps 24:11:27 and B & S Airport Travel coming home with 3rd with 45 Laps in a time of 24:10:31
The morning came the next class of riders set off on the 12hr Race. the course had now been opened up into a 15 miles loop with the option of some extreme sections added for the more brave riders to take the challenge if they wanted to make up on there times. Gnarly hill climbs steep downhills the track could only explained as outstanding the team had put together. Wincanton Print came in 1st with 20 Laps in a time of 12:38:04 2nd James Berrill with 19 laps in a time of 12:05:58 and bringing home 3rd Davies Div with 19 laps 12:40:05
The 6 hour race started at 1pm now with over 400 riders on the track at once the action was electrifying with everyone pushing hard for a finish some trying there chances at the extreme sections and the enduro cross style section with man made obstacles rock gardens, tyres, and skips a mini romamiacs prologue. Overall a world class event put together by Nick Plumb and his Son Alfie and the rest of his team a Dawn to Dusk In the 6 Hr Jason Rees was 1st with 10 laps in 06:33:21 LM Racing 2nd with 9 Laps 06:31:39 and 3rd Big Phills Boys with 9 Laps 06:45:25
